Independent Sales Representatives's (Dealers) are trained professionals that are authorized to sell the Hiawatha Log Homes product.
As an independent sales rep you are representing Hiawatha Log Homes and we take our reputation seriously. You are an extension of the image and branding which we invest so much to project.
Hiawatha Log Homes Model Home
As a representative you may be required to build a Hiawatha Log Homes model.
This can be a live-in model or a free standing model. Of course, free standing is the best scenario as you do not have to combine daily life with the challenges to always having your home "customer ready".
Your model home is expected to be clean, decorated with up-to-date furnishings, and landscaped.
Support and Training
Support and training are key to the success of selling any product no matter what you are selling you need to be adequately trained.
As a sales professional you will be making an investment in your own success. Each year an annual dealer meeting is held, and it is a requirement that you attend in order to maintain the benefits Hiawatha extends to its dealers.
Protected territory is fantastic, but needs to be constantly developed through sales and marketing efforts. Potential customer information is sent to you electronically and you are accountable for follow-up and documentation of information in a timely fashion.
Franchise Start-Up Package
Hiawatha Log Homes does not assess a franchise fee, but we do require dealers to be equipped with the sales tools necessary to do the job.
We have developed a Start-Up Package that is required purchase that will give you the basics:

We also require you to to travel to the Hiawatha Log Homes corporate headquarters to meet with all of the department heads as you start this new venture.
